Sound familiar?

If you've lived with a scar for years, you know the quiet weight of it.

You plan outfits around a C-section line, a tummy tuck scar, a burn or stretch marks. You know which waistlines cover it, and which swimsuits and shorts are off limits.

Maybe you've already tried makeup, scar creams, microneedling or laser. When they didn't give you the blend you hoped for, it's normal to feel skeptical.

Here's why: most treatments work on texture. What people actually notice from a distance is colour.

Camouflage tattoo works on colour. Evelyn mixes pigment from scratch to match your skin's undertones and builds it slowly, layer by layer, into the lighter or discoloured area. As it heals, the mark softens into the skin around it.

Evelyn's honest promise

Camouflage doesn't erase texture or remove a scar completely, and no one can promise exactly how your skin will heal. What it does is soften the contrast, so the area stops drawing attention and you can stop thinking about it.

Healed results

Photos taken after healing, not on the day. Every skin is different, and your assessment tells you what's realistic for yours.

How Evelyn works

Four steps, no surprises

  1. 1

    Assessment first

Evelyn checks scar maturity, texture and undertones before anything touches your skin. You'll know right away if your skin is ready.

  2. 2

    Colour mixed from scratch

No pre-made skin shades. Pigment is blended for your exact tone, so the match looks natural.

  3. 3

    Built slowly over sessions

Colour goes in light and is built up over spaced sessions while your skin heals in between. That keeps every step controlled and easy to adjust.

  4. 4

    Explained along the way

Clear aftercare, healing timelines and honest answers. Once you've fully healed, Evelyn checks the result and adjusts it if needed.

Before you decide

The questions almost everyone asks first

"Is now the right time?"

The assessment is free and you're not committing to anything. Healed results take a few months because sessions are spaced weeks apart, so the earlier you start, the sooner you can wear what you want.

"Vaughan is far for me."

Start with an online assessment from home. Sessions are spaced weeks apart, so it's only a few visits in total, and parking is free.

"What will it cost?"

Every plan is different, because every scar is. At your assessment Evelyn gives you a clear plan with the sessions and pricing, and there's no pressure to go ahead. If you do, your deposit is credited.

"What if it makes it worse?"

That's why it starts with an assessment. Colour goes in light and is built slowly, and if your skin isn't a good candidate, Evelyn will tell you.

"Will it look like a tattoo?"

The goal is the opposite. The colour softens as it heals and is matched to your skin, so the area blends in instead of standing out.

"Can I trust you?"

Evelyn has 10+ years in camouflage and other artists train with her. We show healed results only, and you can read real Google reviews from our clients.

Clear answers

Frequently asked questions

Is the assessment really free?

Yes. Online assessments are free with no deposit. In-clinic spots are held with a small refundable deposit, only to protect against no-shows: it's refunded right away if you attend and decide not to go ahead, or credited to your treatment if you do. Give us 3+ days' notice to move or cancel and it's refunded.

What is a camouflage tattoo?

A paramedical tattoo technique that blends scars, stretch marks, discolouration and other marks using pigment matched to your natural skin tone, so the area blends in with the skin around it.

How does it work?

Evelyn custom-mixes pigment to match your skin and places it with precise techniques. Depth, speed and needle choice are adjusted to the type of skin and mark.

Who is a good candidate?

People with healed surgical, C-section, acne or injury scars, stretch marks, vitiligo or uneven skin tone, and some birthmarks or pigment changes. The assessment tells you whether your skin is ready.

Will it look like a tattoo?

No, that's the opposite of the goal. The colour softens as it heals and is matched to your surrounding skin.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your skin. As a rough guide, lighter scars and stretch marks often take 1 to 3 sessions about 6 to 8 weeks apart. Darker or more complex areas can take 3 to 6 sessions spaced 2 to 3 months apart. Evelyn gives you your own plan at the assessment.

How long does a session take?

Usually 1 to 3 hours, depending on the size and complexity of the area.

Does it hurt?

Everyone is different, but many clients rate it around 2 to 4 out of 10. One of Evelyn's clients said it tickles.

Will I see results right away?

The skin needs about 4 to 6 weeks to heal, and the colour can take up to 8 weeks to fully settle. That's why we only show healed results.

How long does it last?

Usually several years, depending on your skin, aftercare, lifestyle and sun exposure. Touch-ups can refresh the colour over time.

Is there downtime?

Very little. Avoid intense exercise, sweating and direct sun for the first 48 to 72 hours, and avoid sun, tanning, pools and hot tubs on the area until it's fully healed. You'll get full aftercare instructions.

Are the pigments safe?

We use pigments made for cosmetic and paramedical tattooing. Tell us about any allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions at your assessment so Evelyn can plan around them.

Does it work on darker skin tones?

Yes. Pigment is blended for each client, from fair to deep skin tones.

What about raised or indented scars?

Camouflage can soften how they look, but it doesn't flatten texture. Evelyn will tell you honestly what to expect for your scar.

Can I go in the sun afterwards?

Keep the area out of direct sun for at least 4 weeks. After that, sunscreen helps protect the result.

How do I book?
